Smokey Mountain Adventures

Todd's Christmas present to me was a cabin trip just outside of the Smokey Mountains scheduled in February. We both were SO excited because neither of us have ever done a cabin get away and have always wanted to. It didn't disappoint, with lots of exploring, breweries and hiking.

The weather was cold and rainy but we did get one day of clear skies and cool temperatures and we hiked the Rainbow Falls Trail in the Smokey Mountains. 6 miles total and 4,000 ft elevation at the top where we reached the 80ft Rainbow Falls waterfall and the views along the way were breathtaking. It was seriously magical, challenging and a big bucket list item checked off.

I didn't take a ton of pictures on this trip because I mostly wanted to be present and enjoy our time together BUT I did take a few and was really stoked to try out some long exposure shots of waterfalls. The first few shots was the view from our cabin around 7am on a super foggy rainy morning. The rest of the shots were from our hike.

I am so excited we got to do this together and I can't wait to do something like it again!
