Annie + AJ Engagement

I photographed Annie’s senior high school pictures about 9 years ago and it feels like just yesterday. I always remembered her and her mama as being such a joy to work with and I was BEYOND honored and so excited when she reached out to me shortly after AJ proposed and told me simply “You are the only one I want to photograph our engagement and wedding photos - I have known I wanted you to be the one since way back then whenever the day would come”. I was dying. Getting a message like this from her was literally the sweetest and most amazing compliment I could receive.

Fast forward to when we started to plan their engagement session and I knew both her and AJ were going to BRING IT. They wanted classy, elegant Breakfast at Tiffany vibes downtown. They trusted me when I suggested throwing in some grungier parts of downtown as well as a rooftop parking garage to balance their gorgeous attire and whew did it work out so well with these two. Don’t be afraid of some of the non-traditional locations! They can be epic.

And speaking of epic, I can not wait until their wedding next February at The Lightner Museum in St. Augustine!
